Denied ! - Why (?!)

First visit - First Deny, Why (?)

Georgia is a poor country and this is not a secret.    A lot of people go abroad to work as nannies and caregivers. They leave their husbands, wives, daughters and sons in hope to find the ‘’Dream works’’ and have a better future. Each embassy which gives the SCHENGEN VISA s has number of guests each day. Visitors have different purposes for going abroad but the rule for them, how to behave in the embassy is the same.

Rule number one: on the moment you enter the embassy you should smile! No one should doubt that you could have any problem in your country because if there is a problem, there might be the possibility that you will breake the law and won’t come back!

A girl who has just went from the embassy has a happy face seems she received the positive answer Oh yes, she got her SCHENGEN VISA, It’s our turn now.

My girlfriend and I applied to the Embassy on July 29.We wanted to go to France and participate in the International Volunteer Workcamp for 23 days. As the host organization was covering all the fees that was a good opportunity for us to do the volunteer job on one hand and on another hand see the country with less expenses.

August 5, 16:30, I didn’t get myVisa, but my girlfriend did. I am happy for her but she is not. How was that? We are going to the same place, to the same organization, for the same purpose, all our documents were in order! What is the reason? Standard sheet of paper telling that there might be the chance that I will stay in France and won’t come back!

I have been the refuge for more than 20 years in my home country, how can I have desire to become the refuge in a strange country? But there is no prove for it. It must be some, but papers tell that there is no prove for it and this is sad, very sad!

August 9, 15:30, I went to the embassy to leave my letter asking the consul to examine my application again, the young man, with gentle smile on his face, told me that consul will examine the application during 2 months. Is it fair? I have flight on September 1, I can’t ask my plane to wait me, but I can ask consul to harry up, and examine my application on time. It is my first time when i want to go to France and i don't want to be failed. I need 23 days, only 23, I'll go on September 1 and be back on September 24. I still hope that trust can change something.

Yes trust matters, I believe that it does!
